Michael Whitehill

Creative Director

Mike is – together with David Briggs and Steve Knight – one of the creators of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and also co-devised The People Versus and Winning Lines. All three of these shows have been successful in the UK and all continue to be sold abroad.

Astonishingly, he also found time to be an award-winning comedy scriptwriter and producer, penning many hours of stand-up material for artists such as Jasper Carrott, Jo Brand, Ruby Wax, Rory Mcgrath and many others – not least Ken Dodd and Frankie Howerd – as well as writing and producing the sitcoms The Detectives and All About Me for BBC1.

As well as being a master of the written word Mike is a prolific creator and developer of game show ideas, quizzes and factual entertainment.
