
Drawing upon his medical background, Fintan has been a medical editor, medical journalist and writer, columnist and TV presenter. He left his medical career to concentrate on his creative and writing endeavours, including game and quiz show format development for TV.
He co-devised the BBC quiz show The Weakest Link and has had many other formats optioned by a variety of TV companies – including BBC, LWT, Carlton, Studio Lambert (UK), Dick Clark Productions (USA) and Media Street Productions (USA)
He is also a game designer for social, gaming and gambling companies and has worked with Amuso, ICSEurope, Nextgen Gaming (Australia) and Global Gaming Network (USA). He is presently a creative associate to Veros Digital helping to create their portfolio of online virtual and interactive skill games.
His other great passion is comedy. He wrote a medical situation comedy “tlc” which aired on BBC2 , an opera-based situation comedy for BBC Radio 4 and other comedy material for radio and TV.
He co-authored the book “iTwit” and has written, directed and performed narrative and sketch comedy for the stage.
